Is there a limit to the size of an attachment that may be sent using Chilkat Email? For example, can I attach files that are greater than 10MB in size?

Chilkat imposes no size limits. However, there are (of course) potentially size limitations specific to any SMTP server, the receiver of the email may have size limits, and for very very large attachments, there may be memory limitations if running on some device with limited memory.

Email attachments are sent using the Base64 content-transfer-encoding, so the actual size of the attachment in email is 4/3rds of the original. Base64 encoding expands the size of the attachment data by 4/3rds.
