I downloaded the trial version of the Chillkat ActiveX FTP2 9.3.2 ( Ftp2ActiveX-9.3.2-win32 ). 30 day trial period comes to end. Hence, I am planning to purchase 1-Developer License.

Here are my Questions

  1. If I purchase an upgraded Ftp2ActiveX-9.4.0-win32 version, can I use that license for 9.3.2 as well. ?
  2. What is timeline you take to deliver the license key, after placing the order ?

Thanks SUGI

As far as I know, licenses work for all versions of the component. Chilkat emails you your license-code the same day as purchase (maybe it takes a bit longer during weekends/Christmas).

Thanks Gert!

Chilkat has an automated order fulfillment system that checks for new orders once every 20 minutes. Your unlock code(s) should be delivered within this time frame. (Make sure to check your Junk email folder. Also, sometimes an order is placed in an "under review" state by the payment processor, such as Google Wallet, PayPal, etc. If this happens, the Chilkat system is not notified by the payment processor until the order has been cleared. This is a case that could cause a delay. Also, upgrades and renewals are not fulfilled automatically. These purchases require manual review and fulfillment.)

Yes, new-version upgrades are free. Therefore, if the FTP2 license is purchased, its unlock code may be used in future versions. The support will expire after 1-year, but it may be renewed, if needed.

Also, all Chilkat licenses are valid across all supported operating systems, programming languages, platforms, frameworks, etc. Therefore, if a "Chilkat FTP2" license is purchased, it may be used in any supported programming language, operating system, etc.
