You cannot expect an answer without providing SOME sort of information. Just saying "it shows nothing" doesn't provide any information. Nobody knows what you are talking about.

For starters, what programming language are you using? what chilkat libraries are you using? what chilkat methods are you using? Did the chilkat methods cause an error? What was the LastErrorText? Also, your statement that nothing is showing is very confusing, what do you expect to be showing and where? What did Gmail show you that was "correct" (be specific)?

You might as well have asked why that guy you saw was wearing that? I would need to know what he was wearing, how that differs from your expectations, is there a name for that guy (preferably a recognizable name that I would know too)

"blaze4218 " thanks for your reply..

what programming language are you using?

ans: vb6

what chilkat libraries are you using:

ans: 8.0.4 (ChilkatMailMan2)

what chilkat methods are you using?

ans: objEmail.LoadEml (here is the full path of my eml file) and objEmail is ChilkatEmail2 object

Did the chilkat methods cause an error?

ans: nope

What was the LastErrorText?

ans: nothing suspicious

i hope i have provided enough information. so, it would be great if this issue could be resolved soon enough...

best regards

First step is to try again with the latest libraries. 8.0.4 is quite old.

What GMail issues? I only see that you said this about GMail: "but i checked with gmail and it shows correctly", and I see no previous mention of MHT in this thread?

Also, unfortunately I don't see any image attached either.

It's very difficult to know what might be wrong without any code that can demonstrate the error, or error messages/contents of the LastErrorText property that clearly explain the problem. Unfortunately, your description of the issue just isn't enough to help diagnose the problem.

dear sir, jbPro, opps! i added a dropbox link in my previous post i see now, that is not viewable in that post (why? :( )..

ok here is the link again..

I'm pretty sure that chilkat removed that. Presumably for security reasons, I know I wouldn't download a zip from an unknown source...

if you keep posting it, it is likely to be removed again. and more importantly, if it is being removed as some sort of forum rule violation (IDK if that is the case) continuing to repost it might incur further sanctions. Tread lightly...

to blaze4218, i don't think so, because i see the link i post still there..

  1. if chilkat forum don't support giving zip file, then how we can discuss or solve issues :(

to all

any update please?

Ok then. He doesn't usually post after business hours during the week... but he definitely removed the first one, I just don't know why. If you look at your earlier post it says edited by chilkat, and if you click that link it shows that he removed your link. I can't think of a reason not to support zips, I was just guessing.

Well cheers, and good luck. If I think of anything I'll let you know.

no one can answer "is chilkat library issue or my code" unless you provide some code for analysis.

I have been trying to understand what question you are actually asking, and I believe jpbro and chilkat have both expressed confusion about the nature of your query and the lack of useful information regarding what you are experiencing. You made only the most minimal attempt to answer our questions, and still have not provided LastErrorText or code samples. Despite that, I believe you to be quite earnest and extremely polite... So I definitely wish I could somehow be of more help...

I'm going to try a different approach here, I'm going to try and rephrase your question with the best interpretation I can. If I am correct, maybe we can go from there, and others can contribute more confidently (I genuinely believe that they don't because they don't get the question...). If not, perhaps you can explain to me what I am misunderstanding :)

It looks as though your application has created an eml to send to your recipients. In sending (using 8.0.4) to test accounts: one (a yahoo test account)- the other (a gmail test account), gmail was able to properly display your eml as it was designed, but yahoo did not. Upon upgrading to the recent release of the library the reverse happened: yahoo was able to properly display your eml as it was designed, but gmail did not.

Based on this question/assessment I will offer the following advice to further narrow down the issue (kinda pointless if I'm wrong, and therefor my apologies)

If you can save your email to an eml/mht file (this assumes it is not already so) and try the same procedure with a well established mail service such as outlook, we can determine whether the error lies in the eml or the chilkat component (or the usage thereof). Also, could you share the method used to create the eml? was it another chilkat component? And just to be sure that you are using the correct version, could you post the new LastErrorText showing the version #? (sometimes I try to update my chilkat activex dll's, but something goes wrong and I don't realize i'm still using an old copy until I examine the LastError...) If you are unwilling to show your code for valid reasons, perhaps you could describe your hypothesis in more detail, and I could write my own example to illustrate the solution?

sir "blaze4218", thanks a lot for your reply

but nope you don't get it.. yes may be due to my bad English

however i also think you dind't check that zip file yet..

that zip file has all files that my code used, (eml, mht and html)

my software/code don't create eml file it read (load eml file form disk) and send that eml file to recipient.

now eml and mht is showing correctly on yahoo (thought a little misplacement of text) but gmail don't show it correctly at all..

that zip file has also the sample screenshot..

i think you would get better idea if you could download that file..

once again thanks a lot for your kind help, i am so pleased by your response..

best regards
