Question:

pre-question: How do I include sample xml data in my question so it can be read by viewers?

Aug 04 '14 at 17:27

Hello,

I'm trying to submit a Chilkat xml question, and want to show some sample xml data so I can explain the problem. However, I can't find out how to format the question so the xml data, including tags in pointy brackets, appears to viewers. (All pointy bracket nodes are invisible in the preview.)

Markdown doesn't seem to address this problem, even on the Daring Fireball page.

Thanks!

Judith

Try to paste and then highlight your XML in the edit box, and then click the preformatted text icon (looks like binary numbers 101/010) in the toolbar.

Example:

<tagtest></tagtest>
