Question:

MSG Attachments Saved as blank file type or mht file typr

Sep 11 '14 at 22:18

Hi,

We use Chilkat IMAP connecting to an Exchange 2010 SP3 Server. Recently (don't know exactly when) we have seen that when an email is saved as an eml file, any attachments of type msg (Outlook Item) are getting converted to either an mht file, or a filename without an extension, and we are unable to view it.

Has anyone come across this before, and if so how do we ensure msg files remain as such?

Cheers
