I have downloaded the Chilkat components for Xamarin ios and was able to successfully build my application using the instructions. I then tried to use the email functionality and I used the following link to include the correct combination of native libraries http://www.chilkatsoft.com/xamarin_ios_libs.asp

When I tried to compile the program I got the following errors:

Error MT5214: Native linking failed, undefined symbol: _CkEmailU_fromW. This symbol was referenced the managed member Chilkat.Email.ck_from. Please verify that all the necessary frameworks have been referenced and native libraries linked. (MT5214) (FairfieldAllergy)

Error MT5214: Native linking failed, undefined symbol: _CkMailManU_popPasswordBase64W. This symbol was referenced the managed member Chilkat.MailMan.ck_popPasswordBase64. Please verify that all the necessary frameworks have been referenced and native libraries linked. (MT5214) (FairfieldAllergy)

Error MT5214: Native linking failed, undefined symbol: _CkMailManU_putPopPasswordBase64W. This symbol was referenced the managed member Chilkat.MailMan.ck_putPopPasswordBase64. I have checked the combination to be sure they are correct. I could not get a successful compile with any combination.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Thanks. I'll have a look to see if I can produce the same problem. The build and distribution system needs better automated checks to verify that compiling/linking succeeds prior to releasing a new version, and that is what is going to be done in response to this issue. Once it's verified working, I'll produce a new build for you to download..

Dear Sir,

Thank you for following up with me on this. Using the new build you created I was able to successfully compile it into my program.

Regards,
