I am trying to get the size of a file twice on a remote sftp server. I am using the perl module but can't seem to get it to work for the second try.

Thanks, but I need more specific information to understand the problem. A code snippet that shows how to reproduce the problem would help.

I am trying to get the file size on the remote server to determine if its still building.

for ($i = 0; $i <= $n - 1; $i++) { $fileObj = $dirListing1->GetFileObject($i); my $file_name = $fileObj->filename(); $pass1_size = $fileObj->get_Size32(); sleep 5; $pass2_size = $fileObj->get_Size32(); }

file size is the same even when the remote file is still being written to.
