Running Expect from Tcl or Perl on Windows2012R2 causes failures. See this article for details:

https://community.activestate.com/node/10826

Perl/Tcl expect won't install on 2012r2 due to Pty/Tty module issues...and I was thinking maybe the experts at Chilkat could develop newer versions of these that DO work on 2012R2.

I have already developed some rough code in perl that uses Chilkat SSH to login and run Linux commands with some crude Expect type handling of responses, but then my Perl expertise is not that flash!

Lots of people out there starting to hit issues on 2012R2, and I'm guess it is not going to get better?
