We are using Chilkat for our email service with our ERP. every now and then we get have an error "Failed when sending DATA command". We relay from our ERP to our Exchange 2010. in my SmtpReceive logs I see the email has yet to reach the Exchange to fail. Does anyone know what this DATA Command is?

DATA is the body of the email. Most likely the connection to the server disconnected or timed out. Too many pieces between the client and the server to know which is the culprit.

When the "Sent Email Status for EMailID" is sent by Chilkat to the original email address - is there a log file in Exchange I can see? I get about 20 failed a day because of the DATA Command. I am trying to find out if its Exchange or the ERP software we are using.
