Hi,

I'm testing the S3 support in your Xojo plugin.

When running your example: S3 Listbuckets I end up getting two errors from time to time:

The first one is:

ChilkatLog:
  get_OAuthVerifier:
    ChilkatVersion: 9.5.0.56
  --get_OAuthVerifier
--ChilkatLog

And the second one is:

ChilkatLog:
  S3_ListBuckets:
    DllDate: Jan 30 2016
    ChilkatVersion: 9.5.0.56
    UnlockPrefix: Anything for 30-day trial
    Architecture: Little Endian; 32-bit
    Language: MAC OS X C/C++
    VerboseLogging: 0
    stringToSign: GET

      --a_quickReq
Returning failed status because of HTTP response code.
    --httpRequestStr
    Failed.
  --S3_ListBuckets
--ChilkatLog

I have verified that accesskey and secretkey are valid.

I can see the status code 403 in the last error but I'm not sure if there is anything I can do about that.

Best regards

Dan

Hi,

I'm feeling a bit embarrassed: I was testing with an slightly invalid AwsAccessKey.

Now it is working as expected.

I'm so sorry.

This should be fixed in the next version of Chilkat (to begin release in about 6 days). I will try to provide a pre-release ASAP so that you can verify.

Perfect!

Thanks!

Just a gentle bump :-)

Sorry about that. The Xojo build is time consuming as it requires Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and ARM. Chilkat is doing QA on v9.5.0.46 now and will begin release tomorrow (unless QA finds issues that need resolving, but it's unlikely as QA was run about a week ago..)

Good news!

Thanks. There's a small delay -- but this is good news because a bug was caught prior to release. I made the fix, and will re-do QA. It's a 1/2 day lost.. (but this is better than doing a week-long release across all platforms and THEN finding the problem..)

Totally agree.

Hi,

It looked like there where new version uploaded of the Xojo plugin today: I downloaded it and it has the same version number as above, maybe needless to say it behaves in the same way as well.

You probably have both old and new Chilkat versions in the Plugins directory. You should have just the "chilkat.xojo_plugin" file. If you see a directory tree for Chilkat under the Plugins diretory, delete it because that's the old version..

Hi,

I renamed my plugin folder after quitting Xojo and created a new empty plugin folder into which I downloaded the Chilkat Xojo plugin (Creation date 2:26 today) but I still get this as LastErrorText:

ChilkatLog: get_OAuthVerifier: ChilkatVersion: 9.5.0.56 --get_OAuthVerifier --ChilkatLog
